Tsavliris, FICS, Chairman of the ICS Greek Branch and Principal of Tsavliris Salvage Group, led the panel of distinguished speakers.

Despite all difficulties in locating an "all weather" powerful tug, Tsavliris despatched the AHT "KOLGA" (BHP 16,316 – BP 208) on the same day.
On 13 November 2022, the VLCC "OKEANOS" (GT 81,270 – DWT 160,000), laden with 135,800 tonnes of crude oil, was disabled due to main engine problem, about 80 nautical miles off Dubai, UAE.
On 14 November, Tsavliris despatched the AHT "BRITOIL 41" (BHP 9,186 – BP 150) from Dubai.
On 9 November 2022, the Ro-Ro "ANTONIOS M" (GT 493), experienced main engine problems and was towed from Rio, Greece, to Piraeus Roads by Tsavliris' T/B "HERMES (BHP 2,725 - BP 41). On 11 November, the convoy arrived safely at destination and the operation was successfully completed.

On 2 October 2022, the Bulk Carrier "MADRID" (GT 19,999 - DWT 30,900), laden with 25,000 tonnes of wheat, grounded at km 342 Parana River, Argentina, during downriver navigation. The vessel was en route from San Lorenzo, Argentina, to Liverpool, UK. Tsavliris mobilised two salvage tugs and a salvage master to her assistance.
The 13th Hydra Shipping Conference was successfully organised on 17 September 2022 with the title: "ARE WE EXPERIENCING THE OTHER SIDE OF MIDNIGHT?". The event was attended by leading Greek shipowners, senior executives of shipping companies and companies operating in the shipping industry, consultants, academics and members of historical shipping families of Hydra. Conference president was George A. Tsavliris.
