On the occasion of the visit to Piraeus of the salvage tug "FOTIY KRYLOV", the "world's largest, most modern and most powerful tug", TSAVLIRIS hosted a reception on board on Wednesday June 27th, 2007.

With the grandeur that befits an organization that has to present social and educational work for 25 continuous years, the Hellenic Marine Environment Protection Association HELMEPA celebrated, Wednesday 6th June, at the Athens Concert Hall its 25th Anniversary since the founding of the Association by the late George P. L The event was honored by the presence of representatives of the Greek State, the European Commission, the Diplomatic Corps, the Greek and international maritime community, as well as Chairmen and high-level officials of the sister Associations AUSMEPA in Australia, CYMEPA in Cyprus, TURMEPA in Turkey and URUMEPA in Uruguay.

An idea of a presentation sprang to mind when CYMEPA President George Tsavliris met Jeff Overs at the Perito Moreno Glacier in Patagonia, Argentina.
