On 18 January 2025, the Bulk Carrier “EVANTHIA” (GT 32,474 – DWT 53,284) was disabled due to main engine problems, 300 n.m. W of Cape Town, South Atlantic. The vessel was en route from Porto D’Agua, Brazil to Chittagong, Bangladesh, laden with raw sugar. Tsavliris towed the vessel to Durban, South Africa.

On 9 December 2024, the Bulk Carrier "KAMARI" (GT 32,614 – DWT 53,822) stranded off Recife OPL, Brazil due to steering gear problems. The vessel was en route from Recife, Brazil to Cadiz, Spain, laden with fertilizer.

The Propeller Club, Port of Piraeus held their annual New Year ceremony on 27 January 2025. During the event, Nicolas Tsavliris was recognised for his invaluable contribution as past President of the Propeller Club. On 19 February 2025, he also received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Hellenic Shipowners' Association of Tugs, Salvage, Antipollution and OSVs.

TSAVLIRIS GROUP celebrated their New Year's "Pita Cutting" event on 20 January 2025. The occasion included the traditional annual blessing and was attended by the Tsavliris family and staff. Happy New Year with 2025 blessings!

The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers Greek Branch held its 19th Annual Forum, on 27 November 2024, with the theme "SHIPPING BEYOND BORDERS".

On 12 October 2024, the Bulk Carrier “ALONISSOS” (GT 32,858 – DWT 56,648), grounded at KM 394 Parana River, Argentina. Following the mobilisation of three tugs, the casualty was successfully refloated under the directions of Tsavliris’ Salvage Master on 15 October.

On 15 August 2024, the Bulk Carrier "IOLCOS DIGNITY" (GT 47,984 - DWT 87,326), laden with 72,555 tonnes of soya beans, experienced engine problems and immobilised 70 miles off East London, South Africa. On 16 August, Tsavliris despatched a tug from Cape Town.

On 11 October 2024, Tsavliris Salvage Group was awarded the honorary distinction "Vaporia Award 2024" during an awards ceremony in Microlimano, Greece.

On 9 July 2024, the Sailing (Perini) Yacht "TAMARITA" stranded on Panagia Reef, off Paxoi Island, Ionian Sea, Greece with significant listing to port side and water ingress. Tsavliris mobilised tugs, salvage team, professional divers and equipment to the assistance of the casualty. The vessel was towed to Shipyard in Perama by Tsavliris' S/T "PROTEAS" through the Corinth Canal, arriving safely at destination on 27 July.

The Tsavliris Cultural Foundation scholarship award ceremony took place in Athens, on Monday 3 June, during Poseidonia 2024. The awardee, Leandros Trantas, secured a place in a BSc Maritime Business Program, a fully accredited three-year course.

On 12 June 2024, the Bulk Carrier "TUTOR" (GT 44,479– DWT 82,357), laden with 80,000 coal in bulk, was struck by missiles, approximately 60 miles SW of Hodeidah, Red Sea, while en route from Ust Luga, Russia to Kandla, India. Tsavliris despatched tugs, mustered a salvage team and equipment to the assistance of the casualty.

Following the elections of 20 June 2024, Andreas A. Tsavliris has been re-elected for the 38th consecutive year, in the new Council of the Greek Shipping Co-operation Committee for the period June 2024 – June 2026.

A contract between the Ministry of Shipping & Island Policy and the Association "Friends of Liberty" was signed on 21 June 2024 assigning the management of the Floating Museum "Hellas Liberty" to the Association. George Tsavliris, President of the Association, expressed his satisfaction with the development.

On 13 June 2024, "The Tsavliris Cultural Foundation - Ancoria Insurance" Award for Outstanding Performance, was presented to the first two top-ranked graduates of the Master's program in Digital Cultural Heritage in Cyprus, Andriana Nikolaidou and Nicolette Vollero Levy.
