The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers Greek Branch held its 18th Annual Forum, on 28 November 2023. The title was: "SHIPPING 2024: SAILING WITH WISDOM". Mr Nicolas A. Tsavliris, FICS, Chairman of the ICS Greek Branch and Tsavliris Salvage Group addressed a very warm welcome to the audience, emphasising the importance of wisdom in the shipping industry.
Read MoreOn 27 October 2023, Tsavliris assisted the towage of the Passenger/Cruise Ship “QUEEN of the OCEANS” (GT 77,500) with two of their Patras-based tugboats, namely the "PROTEAS" (BHP 3,200 - BP 45) and the "HERMES" (BHP 2,725 - BP 43). Towage commenced from Patras Port to Platygiali terminal, Astakos Port, Greece.
The Tsavliris Cultural Foundation is proudly offering a full scholarship "In Memory of Alexander G. Tsavliris" to commemorate the 50 years since his passing. This is a merit-based scholarship for an undergraduate degree in Greece and amounts to €12,000.

Read MoreOn 3 September 2023, the Bulk Carrier "CARAVOS LIBERTY" (GT 35,812 - DWT 63,301), laden with 60,500 tonnes of Indonesian Steam Coal in Bulk (loaded from Kalimantan area), grounded approx. 50 miles South of Balikpapan, Indonesia. The vessel was en route from Muara Berau Anchorage, East Kalimantan, Indonesia, to Magdalla Port, W.C. India. Tsavliris despatched tugs, utility vessels, Salvage Team and equipment to the assistance of the casualty.

The special ceremony took place on 12 July 2023. His long-standing and multifaceted services to "Athens College" began in 1973 and include the roles of Treasurer, Vice-Chairman and Chairman of the Board of Directors.
INTERMEPA, the International Marine Environment Protection Association, representing national MEPAs worldwide, unanimously elected Ms. Semiramis Paliou (HELMEPA Chairperson) and Mr. George Tsavliris (CYMEPA Chairman) as Chairperson and Vice-Chairman of INTERMEPA, for the next two years.

Tsavliris Salvage received the "Green & Environmental Award" during the prestigious event "Maria Callas Awards 2023" in Monte Carlo on 12 May 2023. Andreas A. Tsavliris represented the company and received the Award from His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco.
