On 2 May 2019, the BC ''CALYPSO" (GRT 40,230 – DWT 73,691), laden with 68,000 tonnes of coal, immobilised about 220 miles SE of Bahia Blanca, Argentina, due to engine problems. The vessel was drifting towards the coast due to adverse current. Tsavliris Salvage was engaged to provide assistance.

The Tsavliris Cultural Foundation scholarship was awarded this year to Ms Eleni Karnaou, University student of a family of four children, by the Permanent Secretary of the Shipping Deputy Ministry in Cyprus, Mr Costas Iacovou. The news was released on 12 November 2019 during a press conference and award ceremony at the "Four Seasons Hotel" in Limassol, Cyprus.
On 23 September 2019, the Bulk Carrier "NAVIOS CHRISTINE B" (GT 32,343 - DWT 58,058), in ballast condition, immobilised due to propeller damage south of Chittagong, Bangladesh. Tsavliris provided salvage assistance and on 20 October, the operation was completed successfully.
On 12 May 2019, the Bulk Carrier "ACHILLES II" (GRT 38,870 – DWT 75,785), laden with about 63.000 tonnes wheat, immobilised due to main engine breakdown about 75 miles SE of SW Pass Buoy, Mississippi River, Louisiana, USA. The vessel was en route from New Orleans, Westwego Louisiana to Alexandria Egypt. Tsavliris provided salvage assistance and on 18 June the operation was completed successfully.
