In January 2026, the Bulk Carrier “COMMON CALYPSO” (GT 32,987 - DWT 57,000), laden with soyabeans, experienced main engine problem and was drifting 10 nm E of Salomon Islands, Indian Ocean, while en route to Chittagong, Bangladesh.  On 10 January, Tsavliris mobilised the S/T “Boka Alpine” (BP 200) and on 14 January towage to Hambantota Port, Sri Lanka commenced. On 26 January the convoy arrived safely at destination and the operation was completed successfully.
