On the occasion of the visit to Piraeus of the salvage tug "FOTIY KRYLOV", the "world's largest, most modern and most powerful tug", TSAVLIRIS hosted a reception on board on Wednesday June 27th, 2007. Owned by the Russian Navy, the tug has been on bareboat charter to TSAVLIRIS SALVAGE GROUP for 15 years.

Welcoming guests, Nicos Tsavliris ventured to say "such a salvage tug will never be built again". He said she was making her third visit to Piraeus in the last decade, and came here from her station in the Azores "so she can undergo work in Greece's shipyards. Thereafter, she will undertake the towage of a large platform from the Mediterranean to the North Sea on behalf of a multi-national oil company".
