Organised with great success for the 3rd consequent time, the Slide2Open Shipping Finance 2020 aimed at producing tangible results, while providing delegates with valuable financial and commercial insight into activities, offerings, best practices and trends. The conference organisers, speakers, presenters and panelists all had considerable expertise and success stories to share. Mr George Tsavliris participated as a key speaker with the closing conference speech.
The conference took place in Athens, Greece at Divani Caravel Hotel on 30 January 2020.

The Minister of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy, Mr Giannis Plakiotakis, in his opening speech noted the multiple challenges facing the Greek and global shipping.

In his closing speech, Mr George Tsavliris, Principal, Tsavliris Group, underlined the importance of artificial and emotional intelligence in shipping and gave his insight into emissions.
