"ALEXANDER G. TSAVLIRIS" MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP - 2023 Oct 06
The Tsavliris Cultural Foundation is proudly offering a full scholarship "In Memory of Alexander G. Tsavliris" to commemorate the 50 years since his passing.
This is a merit-based scholarship for an undergraduate degree in Greece and amounts to €12,000.
The scholarship was announced during an emotional event at the main offices of Tsavliris Salvage, in Piraeus, on 5 October 2023. It is offered by Nicolas, George and Andreas Tsavliris, the three sons of the Founder of the Group, through the Tsavliris Cultural Foundation.
The scholarship is open to Greek applicants that have secured a place in the BSc Maritime Business Program, a Fully Accredited three-year Course offered by the Metropolitan College in Piraeus (in partnership with Solent University of Southampton) for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Application process
Interested applicants should submit their application by 31/1/2024 to the Chairman of the Academic Board, Metropolitan College by hand or email (rg.ude.okitiloportim@spihsralohcs). The application package must include all the following:
• Admission Acceptance
• ID/Passport
• CV
• Answers to Questionnaire
Selection process
• Applications are evaluated by the Admissions Committee under the Chairmanship of the Academic Board, Metropolitan College
• Approved applicants are evaluated by the Scholarship's Selection Committee
Finalists will be invited to an interview.
The Scholarship winner will be announced during Posidonia events in June 2024.
