On Tuesday 20th September, the London (and worldwide) shipping community descended onto the London Hilton (Park Lane) for the acclaimed and glamorous Lloyd's List Global Awards. The event was attended by Shipping personalities such as Mr. Efthimios Mitropoulos, Secretary-General of the IMO, and Mr. Spyros Polemis, Chairman of the International Chamber of Shipping, to name just a few. TSAVLIRIS also attended the function.

TSAVLIRIS SALVAGE were shortlisted for the highly coveted "Environment Award" and are proud to announce that they were Highly Commended and congratulated on the evening for their efforts in protecting the environment against marine pollution. TSAVLIRIS SALVAGE, as professional salvors, have always prided themselves on fulfilling their obligation to protect the marine environment.

TSAVLIRIS were also happy to see a former TSAVLIRIS Group associate and veteran Chairman of the IMIF (International Maritime Industries Forum) - Mr. Jim Davis CBE, K(DK) – receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. After 60 years in the Shipping Industry, Mr. Jim Davis truly deserves every recognition and appreciation for his exceptional work.
