On Friday 1st April 2011, we dispatched S/T "KOHOH MARU" to the assistance of the Bulk Carrier "VOSTOK" (14,754 GRT, 23,524 DWT) laden with 21,250 MT Portland Cement (Clinker Type I) in bulk, disabled about 450 n.miles SE of Yokoshuka. Due to heavy yawing of casualty and adverse weather conditions, the T/B "SHOYO MARU" was mobilized from Yokoshuka to assist in the towage as a steering tug.

On the 9th April the convoy arrived safely at Shimotsu and casualty was delivered at MES Dockyard.
