On 2 October 2022, the Bulk Carrier "MADRID" (GT 19,999 - DWT 30,900), laden with 25,000 tonnes of wheat, grounded at km 342 Parana River, Argentina, during downriver navigation. The vessel was en route from San Lorenzo, Argentina, to Liverpool, UK.

Tsavliris mobilised the T/B "RANQUEL" (BHP 4,600 – BP 70), the T/B "BRUTUS" (BHP 5,400 – BP 72) and a salvage master to her assistance.

On 3 October, the vessel was refloated successfully (without lightening) and was towed to Puerto Ingeniero Buitrago anchorage where VDR inspections were carried out according to the Port Authorities requirements.
On 4 October, all services were completed and the tugs were released.
