The very succesful 18th Mare Forum took place on 12 March 2018 at the Athens Holton hotel. The conference was titled "Everything is changing" and was chaired by Mr George A. Tsavliris.

The forum analysed the "renaissance" of shipping and commodity markets, the maritime transportation of oil, gas and dry bulk commodities, containers, the geopolitical, cyber and digitalisation risks, the upcoming industrial and technology post-crisis "revolution" impacts on shipping, the regulations, the environmental imperatives, ship-finance and investments, the threats and opportunities affecting shipping, the views on future smart investments.

The forum focused also on the ongoing developments at the eastern mediterranean Cyprus, Greece, Egypt, Israel and other countries, deep water offshore developments on oil and gas exploration and transportation.
